Halifax Humane Society is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities® for National Adoption Week,
taking place July 20–26. Throughout the week, we will host five community events at PetSmart
Daytona Beach and PetSmart DeLand, featuring pet care education, helpful resources,
interactive activities, and opportunities to meet adoptable shelter pets.
Halifax Humane Society Launches Dogs Day Out to Give Shelter Dogs Adventures and a Faster Path to Adoption
Halifax Humane Society is launching Dogs Day Out, an innovative, volunteer-powered program that allows community members to take adoptable shelter dogs on field trips throughout Volusia County. The program is designed to reduce kennel stress, increase enrichment opportunities, gather valuable behavioral information, and help dogs find homes faster.
